Earlier this year, Sarah Sands our friend, and colleague was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer but after treatment, she is really doing well.

To help others, Sarah organised an Afternoon Tea at Emery Planning in support of Breast Cancer Now which is a charity that provides life-changing support and funds vital research for those affected by breast cancer.

Thanks to the generosity of colleagues, friends, and family, she has raised £1,200.

£80 can fund two hours of world-class breast cancer research.

£140 can help one person attend a Living with Secondary Breast Cancer support service.

£360 can enable 12 people to receive answers and support through the charity’s free helpline.

Sarah says

“I am one of the lucky ones, having been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer after a routine mammogram in April this year. I am now through the other side, which is why I wanted to support Breast Cancer Now by raising both money and awareness. It is very important that everyone attends their breast screening appointments.”
