On behalf of Wainhomes (North West) Limited, Emery Planning has secured planning consent for 96 new homes and associated works on land between Hayfield Road and High Hill Road, New Mills, High Peak. This greenfield site is an allocation in the High Peak Borough Local Plan. The proposals included 30% affordable homes, a 1.9 hectares green corridor with trim trail, landscaping and pedestrian and cycle links to existing rights of way together with a section 106 agreement securing contributions towards local schools and highways improvements.
