Land off Denton - site plan

Emery Planning has obtained outline planning permission for 4 dwellinghouses on a site (Land off Denton Grove) which forms part of a green corridor within an urban area, as identified in the Authority’s Green Space Strategy. We were able to successfully demonstrate a good supply of green corridors in this part of the Authority and that the proposed development would not affect the connectivity of the green corridor, offering an opportunity to enhance the wider area of open space through additional landscaping and a new linkage to an existing pedestrian and cycle route.

The application was recommended for approval and committee members voted unanimously, with a resolution to grant subject to signing of the S106 agreement. This has subsequently been concluded and permission granted.
