Emery Planning and Dove Architecture secured planning permission and listed building consent for one dwelling on a site forming part of the grounds of the Grade II* listed Lymm Hall, Lymm, Cheshire.
The entire estate of Lymm Hall falls within Lymm Conservation Area and the scheme was required to not only sit well within its historic context but also respect the adjacent properties at The Hatchings.
Extensive pre-application discussions took place prior to the preparation of the scheme with views being sought from Lymm Parish Council and the community. Warrington Borough Council, Historic England and Cheshire Archaeology Planning Advisory Service provided pre-application advice and the final scheme was informed by the feedback from these bodies.
