Emery Planning has successfully obtained planning permission for a wrap-around extension to a dwelling in Chapel-en-le-Frith, High Peak.
A permitted development fallback position was established as part of a broader strategy to overcome the council’s reasons for refusal of an earlier application by the property owner, resulting in planning permission being granted for the client’s preferred development.
The case officer’s report for the application confirmed that in light of applicant’s ability to construct a ‘larger rear extension’, the proposals were “acceptable in design terms, and would not result in any adverse harm to amenity or highway safety.”
